At PCC we consider youth to be extremely important. It is our desire through the youth program to give them a place to come and feel comfortable, to have fun, to fellowship with other Christians their age, to study God’s Word, to grow as Christ’s disciples, and to just enjoy themselves. This is done through social events, weekly Bible studies, and various ministry opportunities.

The Junior Youth Group is for those who are in grades 7–9.

The Senior Youth Group is for those who are in grades 10–12.

Bible Study Times (held at the church)

Jr. Youth: Wednesdays at 6:45 pm

Sr. Youth: Wednesdays at 8:00 pm

Social Events

Usually there is a social event every Friday night, alternating between Junior and Senior youth each week. These events include things like progressive suppers, games nights, Bigger & Better, skating, retreats, skiing trips, swimming, etc.

	May. 23: Jr. Youth: Gross Games 7:00–10:00 PM Bring an old change of clothes that can get dirty Prepare to get messy and be grossed out.
	May. 30: Sr. Youth: Outdoor Games 7:00–10:00 PM Meet at the church Bring soccer balls, footballs, frisbees, etc. All manner of fun and games will be had outdoors!
	May. 31: Jr. Youth Leadership Team Spiritual Retreat 9:00–8:00 PM Meet at Jason & Laura's (2931 McTavish St.) Bring your Bible, a note pad, and a pen A day to withdraw from the busyness of your life, slow down, and meet with God and enjoy what he has for you.
	Jun. 6–Jun. 7: Sr. Youth Leadership Team Spiritual Retreat 5:00 PM Cherry Lake Meet at the church at 5:00 pm on Friday Bring a sleeping bag, pillow, Bible, notepad, pen A time to get away from the busyness of your life, slow down, meet with God, and enjoy what he has for you.
	Jun. 13: Jr. Youth: The Amazing Race 7:00–10:00 PM Meet at the Legislature Building in Wascana Park Bring your bike! Everyone needs a bike. You've seen the show - now play it. A race against other teams to solve clues and get to the finish first.
	Jun. 20: Grade 12 Grad Banquet 6:00–9:00 PM Cost: $5/person (except the grads) This is a formal banquet Our formal Grad Banquet. This is a special time to honour and celebrate our Grade 12 Students. Sr. Youth, Parents of Grads, and C&C are invited.
	Jun. 21: Jr. & Sr. Youth: Wind-up Event 5:30–9:00 PM Meet at Taylor Field (that's right, home of the Riders!) Cost: $2/person Bring sports equipment (footballs, frisbees, soccer balls, etc.) We are meeting at Taylor Field to play games for a couple of hours. We get the whole field to ourselves! After that, we are going to the park for a wiener roast.

Ministry Opportunities

It is our desire to provide various ministry opportunities to allow kids to live their faith out practically, to serve like Christ, and to make a difference in the community. These events happen about once every six weeks.
